PNGO Condemns the Destruction of its Offices in Gaza

The Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations Network denounces the bombing of its offices, which are located at the headquarters of the National Society for Rehabilitation in the Rimal neighborhood in Gaza City on Wednesday morning. The building was destroyed completely after being targeted by the occupation forces during its aggression against the Palestinian people, specifically in the Gaza Strip, which has so far caused more than 130,000 martyrs and wounded, and left about two million citizens without shelter.
PNGO announced in a press release that the targeting of its offices in Gaza is a continuation of the occupation’s government in destroying civil society organizations that provide relief and humanitarian services to help citizens affected by this ongoing aggression for 166 consecutive days. It is also part of the destruction of health, medical, humanitarian, and civilian institutions in addition to schools, that are subjected daily to direct bombardment and destruction by the occupation forces. All this occurs besides besieging and committing continuous massacres and destruction at Al-Shifa Hospital, and its surroundings.
The statement stressed that the destruction of PNGO’s offices, will not prevent it from continuing its mission towards the relief of the afflicted, and marginalized groups.
On the contrary, PNGO will continue to do its work alongside civil society organizations to provide all assistance within the capabilities available to the victims of this criminal aggression.
PNGO had also sent urgent messages to international organizations to protect the Palestinian civil work and put an end to this aggression through urgent measures, and concrete steps to open safe corridors for the relief of the wounded and afflicted.
